The FL4WDA Annual Meeting and Campout will be held January 18-20 at the OCALA FOREST CAMPGROUND, CR 42 in Altoona/Umatilla, Fl (South end of the forest). Saturday dinner hosted by the Ocala Jeep Club, raffle Saturday night. Please bring a covered dish to share on Saturday night. The Annual Meeting will be held Saturday morning around 10:00. If you are interested in serving on the Board of the FL4WDA, please email us. It is time for the existing board to step down, so please consider serving.
THIS IS {NOT} A DRY CAMPING EVENT (alcohol is allowed), primitive camping so bring your generators. Showers and bathhouse will be available. Folks this is the largest 4x4 access rights lobying group in the state. They were indeed (honestly) invaluable in the recent FS Route Designation process.
I strongly urge this club to join this orginization - if not the club, then as individuals.
Come to this campout and voice your opinions. See where this orginization is headed. Get involved directly in steering it! Sure, time to do this stuff is a problem for everyone. But if we (collectively) do not make time to work in a win/win situation like this we might as well start hanging the "FOR SALE" signs on our rigs now.
