Well, I hate to be a turncoat, but I'm gonna try Tellico in August with a club I joined down here in Lakeland. Before I go, I'm going to add another locker, some lift shackles, and rocker guards, all compliments of Tropical Storm Barry and 25 hours of OT.

Sounds great Randy. Let us know what it's like so you can take us up there.

if you want some A/C, hot showers, nice views, close by without bustin' the bank, get some buddies to go in on a house/cabin.
i think murphy, NC is the area you want...

That's what we are doing. Two cabins, six people a piece. Works out to be about 55 bucks a couple per night. Ten minutes from Tellico, thirty minutes from town. Can't wait.
Trail number 4 was rated by BFGoodrich to be the fifth best in the country.
(Making the Donkey jealous, aren't I???)

I won't be ridin' on any 38's, but I got a few upgrades in mind. I ordered my Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers this morning and I was the first person on backorder. I must have missed the last set by minutes knowing my luck. Gonna put another Aussie in the rear. Some lift shackles like you had, Pete. And I'm really mulling around a winch, haven't decided yet. There will be other people with winches and I never Jeep alone, but it will level out my jeep's heavy spare tire carrier. Still not sure about that one, though.
Ya'll take care.
